Applications for 2018 SOCC Internship is now open!
The SOCC Planning Committee is seeking 3 individuals to serve as SOCC Conference Interns in the following roles:
  • Registration/Social
  • Workshops
  • Logistics
Requirements for 2018 SOCC Interns
  • Applicants must be alumni of a Washington State Community or Technical College, and must have attended at least one Students of Color Conference (SOCC) as a student.
  • Applicants may not be current community or technical college students.
  • Applicants must possess a high level of cultural competency, awareness of their own cultural/racial identity and how their identity interacts with others, and fluency with concepts of race, racism, social justice and intersectionality.
  • Priority will be given to students who have NOT served as a SOCC intern.
